Intellectual Property and Licence Notice

This page explains the origin, ownership and licensed use of intellectual property associated with AidHub and the Mission Empowerment Platform.

Origin and Ownership

AidHub was founded in 2014 by Alan Morgan. From inception, the core concepts, technology architecture, business model, platform design, branding, domain names, strategic frameworks and associated know-how underlying AidHub were conceived, developed and established by the founder.

Unless otherwise expressly stated, these materials and related intellectual property are owned by the founder and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

Licence to AidHub Foundation

AidHub International Ltd (trading as AidHub Foundation) has been granted an exclusive licence to use specified AidHub intellectual property for the sole purpose of operating, developing and making available the Mission Empowerment Platform and related initiatives in pursuit of AidHub’s charitable and public-benefit objectives.

This licence has been provided without financial consideration and on the basis that the licensed intellectual property is actively utilised to advance the mission and objectives for which AidHub Foundation was established.

Continuity of Mission

The exclusive licence is conditional upon AidHub Foundation continuing to operate as a viable entity and to make the Mission Empowerment Platform available in a manner consistent with its stated purpose and governance arrangements.

In the event that AidHub Foundation is wound up, becomes insolvent, or otherwise ceases to operate or to practically advance its mission, the licence does not continue by default. In such circumstances, the licensed intellectual property may be withdrawn or re-applied by the owner in order to preserve, continue or re-establish the AidHub mission through a successor structure or entity.

Use by Community and Partners

Community members, partners and authorised participants may access and use the Mission Empowerment Platform and associated materials in accordance with applicable terms of use, partnership arrangements and governing policies.

No transfer of ownership in AidHub intellectual property is intended or implied except as expressly provided by law or written agreement.

Reservation of Rights

All rights not expressly licensed are reserved. Unauthorised use, reproduction or exploitation of AidHub intellectual property may infringe applicable laws.
